About this photograph

The Bebresh Viaduct carries the Hemus motorway high above a densely forested mountain valley. Its long concrete structure cuts a clear line across the green slopes, while smaller roads curve far below between the massive supporting columns. In the distance, Bebresh Reservoir appears between the hills, adding a calm natural background to the scale and geometry of the viaduct.
