About this photograph

The trail through the Canyon of Waterfalls does not remain on one side of the Gerzovska River for long. At several points, wooden footbridges carry hikers from one bank to the other before the path continues through the forest. I photographed one of these crossings, where the bridge passes directly above the rushing water and becomes part of the experience of following the river upstream.
