About this photograph

Seen directly from above, the suspension footbridge forms a single straight line across the calm blue water of Pasarel Reservoir. On both shores, the forest has changed into a rich mosaic of green, yellow, orange and deep red. The simple geometry of the bridge contrasts with the irregular shapes and colours of the autumn canopy, while a solitary person near its centre reveals the scale of the crossing.
